Overview

The Langtang, Gosaikunda, and Helambu Trek is a fully supported teahouse-based adventure that leads you to the breathtaking alpine lakes of Gosaikunda Lake in the serene Helambu region. Located just a day’s drive from Kathmandu, this trekking route offers a perfect escape into a relatively less crowded and unspoiled part of the Himalayas.

The region is predominantly inhabited by Tamang and Helambu Sherpa communities, whose origins trace back to Tibet. Their rich culture, traditional lifestyle, and warm hospitality add a unique cultural dimension to the trek.

A major highlight of this journey is a visit to Kyanjin Gompa (3,800m), a beautiful Buddhist monastery set against a dramatic backdrop of snow-capped peaks. From Kyanjin, the trail continues across scenic high passes, offering spectacular views as you make your way toward the sacred lakes of Gosaikunda.

This trek provides an excellent opportunity to experience authentic village life surrounded by peaceful alpine wilderness. Along the route, trekkers are rewarded with magnificent views of towering Himalayan peaks such as Langtang Lirung (7,225m) and Ganesh Himal (7,446m), along with countless snow-covered summits rising above 6,000 meters.

A completely upheld tea house based trek to the staggering lakes of Gosainkund in the Helambu area . just a days drive from Kathmandu, this area is moderately segregated and dominatingly occupied by the Tamangs and Helambu Sherpas, who original from since long years ago in Tibet just toward the north. A famouse of our trek is a visit to Kyanjin Gompa (3800m), a Buddhist monastery in a fantastic sub-snow capped . From Kyanjin we cross a few passes and amazing perspectives enroute to the holy lakes of Gosainkund. Day 1 :

Our guide will welcome you at Kathmandu airport (1345meters)and transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu . Overnight at hotel.

Welcome to Nepal. Representative of Snow View receives you at the Tribhuwan International airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to the hotel. After a short rest, we brief you about the upcoming itinerary. O/N at hotel.

Day 2 :

Drive to Syabru Beshi (1462m) 6-7 hrs and overnight at hotel

After the breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Syaphru besi from Kathmandu. It’s a long way drive enjoying the panoramix views of the green hills, valleys, Rivers and the mountains. Reaching Syaphrubesi, we take a rest and prepare for the upcoming journey. Overnight at lodge.

Day 3 :

From Lama hotel, we begin the trek with a breakfast. We walk through the thick rhododendron forest. The peaceful trail is excellent. Then we leave the forest behind and enter into the Langtang valley through Ghoda Tabela. Langtang Lirung entices us on the northern part. Langtang valley is located below the massive Langtang glacier. Overnight at the lodge.

Passing through the cattle grazing meadows, we begin to trek from langtang to Kyanjin. We get the surprising views of the Buddhist prayer flags that flutter around. Crossing some wooden bridges, we reach to Kyanjin village, which is famous for its monastery that lie in the village. Overnight at lodge.

Day 6 :

Excursion to Tserko Ri Peak (4993m) and over night at Kyangching Gompa

Having breakfast at Thulo Syabru, we begin to walk via Garta. On the way, we visit the Phulung Gompa and escort towards Sing Gompa. You have an option to extend the trek up to Cholangpati after visiting the cheese factory. Overnight at lodge.

After the breakfast, we begin our journey from Sing Gompa to the holy Lake Gosaikunda. It’s a bit tough but as we have already done the trek towards Tserko Ri, it’s not such a problem. Reaching the Gosaikunda Lake, we take a rest. Overnight at lodge.

Crossing the Lauribina Pass of the Langtang, we trek down towards Ghopte. It’s a tough climb on both side, but the close view of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Gosaikunda peak and other neighboring peaks make our journey extremely fabulous. From the pass, trek to Ghopte is a steep downhill climb and we take a rest there. Overnight at lodge.

We still have to descend through the steep trail from Ghopte via Thadepati Pass (3690 meters). Trekking further, we pass Mangengoth and Kyuola Bhanjyang and finally reach to Kutumsang through the rhododendron forest. Overnight at lodge.

Passing the National park office after the breakfast, we begin to climb down via Gul Bhanjyang and Chipling. Passing Thankune Bhanjyang, we reach to Pati Bhanjyang. We meet another checkpoint and proceed forward towards Chisapani and take a rest. Overnight at lodge.

Day 14 :

Chisapani to Sundarijal (1400m)3-4 hours and drive back to Kathmandu (1350m)

After the breakfast, we begin to trek down from Chisapani to Sundarijal. It’s a very beautiful trail through the woods, which is an excellent journey. The Langtang Himalayas can be explored along with enjoying the pristine nature. We trek down to Mulkharka and continually to Sundarijal. Then we drive (1 hour) to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15 :

Transfer to international airport for your departure.
