The Langtang Corporate Trek by Snow View Treks is an 11-day journey designed specifically for work teams. This trek blends a beautiful Himalayan trek with activities that help colleagues connect, learn, and grow together. Located just a day’s drive from Kathmandu, the Langtang Valley is easy to reach without the need for extra flights. Once the team leaves the city behind, the noise of emails and meetings is replaced by the sound of the Langtang River and views of the massive Langtang Lirung mountain. This peaceful setting becomes a kind of boardroom without walls, where the team can think clearly and focus on each other.
Talking about the journey, the trek follows the classic Langtang Trek route through green forests and traditional Tamang villages. The team will begin walking from Syabrubesi and continue to Lama Hotel (2,480m) and Langtang Village (3,430m) until they reach Kyanjin Gompa (3,830m). The team stays three nights in Kyanjin Gompa to rest and adjust to the altitude. During that time, the group hikes to Kyanjin Ri and Tserko Ri for wide 360-degree views of glaciers and Himalayan peaks.
Not to mention, each day has two parts. The first part is the physical journey through forests, rivers, mountain trails, and local villages to reach the overnight stop. The second part focuses on team growth, with regular touchpoints that keep it clearly corporate. The schedule includes an acclimatization day workshop, group activities, and daily reflection circles in the evening, where everyone shares what they learned and how to improve.
The main objective of this trek in the Langtang region is to break down barriers between job titles. When the team shares a meal in a small mountain lodge or visits a local cheese factory together, they stop being bosses and employees and become a team. They also learn lessons, like a visit to the Kyanjin Cheese Factory offers a real-life lesson in supply chains, and hearing stories of how local people stayed strong after the earthquake teaches them about resilience.
We end this short trek with fun activities like dancing, singing, and a final ceremony to celebrate everything the team has achieved. By the time your team returns to the office, you will have a team that trusts one another more, communicates more effectively, and feels ready to take on new challenges together.
