Day 2 :

Today, we will take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The exciting 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which passes over towering peaks and stunning landscapes, prepares you for the Everest Base Camp luxury trek. After arriving at the well-known airfield in Lukla, we start our journey with a breathtaking descent through verdant woods and charming Sherpa settlements. Today, after an early morning breakfast, we will trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar. With breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, the route winds up by the Dudh Kosi River. We’ll pass past numerous small Sherpa communities on your ascent, giving you an idea of the way of life there. Although the last ascent to Namche Bazaar is a little difficult, the benefits are tremendous.

Day 4 :

Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazzar (A, B, L, D)

We’ll stay in Namche Bazzar for a day to give ourselves time to get used to the dropping air pressure. A brief hike in and around Namche Bazar rewards us with views of the Himalayas, including breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the Khumbu peak panorama. Our acclimatization day’s climb to Hotel Everest View, widely regarded as one of the greatest overlooks in the Everest area, is one of its highlights.

Day 5 :

Trek from Namche Bazzar to Debouche, 5 to 6 hours (A, B, L, D)

After having a fulfilling breakfast, we will head towards Debouche. The path crosses the Dudh Koshi River via suspension bridges as it softly descends through woods of rhododendron. Trekking through picturesque villages like Phunki Tenga, renowned for its water-powered prayer wheels, the route proceeds among yak pastures and terraced fields with views of Ama Dablam and Everest. Eventually, we will arrive at Debouche for our overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, we will move from Debouche to Dingboche. The Imja Khola River is crossed by suspension bridges as the trail meanders through verdant rhododendron trees. We will be rewarded with breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks, like Ama Dablam, as we ascend.

Day 7 :

Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

You can use this day as an additional day of acclimatization. After traveling via the Imja Khola valley to the Chhukung valley, where we will enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, particularly the enormous south wall of Lhotse, we will head back to Dingboche in the evening.

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche, 5 to 6 hours (A, B, L, D)

Today, the path follows the Khumbu Glacier’s lateral moraine, passing stone memorials honoring climbers who lost their lives on neighboring summits. We are still climbing as we make our way to Lobuche, which is actually only a few huts at the base of the massive Lobuche mountain, at an elevation of 4,910 m/16,108 ft. Today’s altitude may cause some respiratory issues.

Day 9 :

Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep to EBC and back to Gorakshep, 7 to 8 hours (A, B, L, D)
