Overview

Mera Peak (6476m) is a brilliant and the highest trekking peak in the Everest region of Nepal. It is situated over the beautiful and highly located Hinku Valley. During the Mera Peak climbing trip, you can feel the real adventurous experience and the challenging trip. The views of the Everest mountain range are no doubt spectacular and mind blowing. The trail to head the Mera Peak splits from Lukla from the main trail of the Everest Base Camp Trekking.

To reach the Mera Peak Base Camp, you have to head through the Paiya, Pangkoma, Nigmsa, Kothe and other beautiful villages of the Himalayan Sherpa people. It is an astonishing experience to get the warm welcome from this ethnic group, who are hospitable and rich in customs and societal values. The High Camp for the Mera Peak climbing establishes around the height of 5800 meters above from sea level over the glacier and effort to touch the summit. Using the climbing materials as climbing rope, Carabiners, zumers, ice-axe and crampons and others are necessary. Acclimatization is very much essential to climb this peak because it contains the heavy snow fall range. The views of They include Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Nuptse and other Himalayas in the Khumbu region.

Day 1 :

Our guide will welcome you at Kathmandu airport (1345meters)and transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu . Overnight at hotel.

Fly to Lukla and trek to Paiya.

Nigmsa to Chetrakhola.

  • Farewell Dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with domestic culture show in Kathmandu before departure

Cost Excludes

  • Lunch and Dinner during your stay in Kathmandu .
  • Any packed food/snacks, drinks, energy drinks, mineral water, alcohol, cigarettes,
  • chocolates, nutria-bars or any other food consumed beyond the prescribed breakfast, lunch and  dinner, etc.
  • Items of personal nature, Laundry Expenses, Tips.
  • Expenses incurred towards usage of landlines, mobiles, walkie,talkies or satellite phone and Internet expenses.
  • Clothing, Packing Items or Bags, Personal Medical Kit, Camera/Video Fees or Trekking Gears.
  • Any extra expenses arising out of various/unforeseen situations like natural calamities,
  • landslides, political disturbances, strikes, changes in Government regulations, etc
  • Transportation is not on disposal basis. It is strictly as per the itinerary. Any extra distance travelled will be charged extra.
  • Any additional staff other than specified.
