The three cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur with numerous historical monuments, old palaces and palace squares, shrines and temples, ageless traditions and legends make it a veritable living museum. The Kathmandu Valley boasts seven UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites all within a radius of 20 km.Bandipur is located halfway between Kathmandu and Pokhara highway. It is a hilltop settlement with its preserved old time cultural atmosphere. Excellent views of the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang Himal and the Marsyangdi valley make Bandipur an interesting tourist site. Other attractions include the Bindyabashini temple, Raniban (Queens forest), downhill trek to the Siddha Cave and a hike to Ramkot village.Pokhara is the city famous for the serenity of Phewa lake and the magnificence of the Fish-tail summit of Machachhapuchhre (6977m) rising behind it, creates an atmosphere of peace and magic. The valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, clear lakes and the world famous views of the Himalaya.Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site where Siddhartha Gautama (Lord Buddha) was born. Listed as UNESCO world heritage site, it is a top destination for Buddhist pilgrims and traveler. Maya Devi temple, holy pond, (where Buddhas mother took ritual dip prior to his birth), marker stone depicting the exact birthplace of Gautama Budda, ruins of ancient monasteries, a sacred Bodhi tree, Ashoka pillar etc. are some of the main attractions of Lumbini. There are also several pagodas, stupas and temples built by different nations.

Chitwan National Park is one of the finest national parks in Asia, famous for its dense concentration of wildlife such as the rare great one-horned rhinoceros, several species of deer, sloth bear, leopard, wild boar and crocodile, more than 350 species of birds and the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. Chitwan National Park is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site (natural) list.

Sightseeing Tour and Roundtrip South Nepal
