Mr. Nami Nath Devkota is a highly experienced and respected figure in Nepal’s adventure tourism industry, with over 15 years of expertise as a mountain trekking leader. He began his journey as a porter and completed his guide training in 2009. Since 2015, he has also been actively involved in the trekking business, gaining extensive experience in managing and operating trekking services.
Born and raised in the Langtang region of Nepal, Mr. Devkota developed a deep connection with the mountains from an early age. His extensive experience includes guiding across Nepal’s most iconic trekking routes such as Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, and Langtang Valley, as well as remote and less-explored trails that reveal the country’s hidden beauty.
He possesses strong knowledge of high-altitude conditions, particularly Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), and has completed multiple specialized training programs related to mountain safety and trekking leadership. His commitment to safety, careful planning, and attention to detail ensures that every journey is conducted with the highest standards.
Beyond guiding, Mr. Devkota has also contributed to the wider tourism community. He served as an Executive Member of the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) from 2022 to 2024, reflecting his leadership and dedication to the development of Nepal’s trekking industry.
