The journey from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi is the main access route to the Langtang region. Syabrubesi serves as the starting point for popular treks such as the Langtang Valley, Tamang Heritage, and Gosaikunda treks.The distance is approximately 122–130 km, but due to mountainous terrain and road conditions, the journey takes longer than expected.

Day 3 :

The trek to Gatlang Village takes approximately 5 to 6 hours from the starting point. The trail offers a pleasant and scenic walk through terraced fields, traditional villages, and forested hills. Along the way, trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges, including the Langtang region and Ganesh Himal. On clear days, you can also enjoy distant glimpses of the sacred region around Gosaikunda Lake.

The trek today will be some what more as it is dropping and climbing which will take around 5 -6 hours to get Tatopani. It means boiling hot water and here is a hot spring where you can shower and bath after the trek . The people are beliving if they have some pain and aches it will be away after the bath.

The trek comes the pass throught Ghyang village and as you climb to the top Nagthali (3,165m), the snow Views Himalayas can be seen. After Lunch you will continue to Thuman and stop for a night stay at Thuman. It take 5 to 6 hours.

Thuman to Briddim (2240m) 5-6 hours . Overnight at guesthouse

The trek from Thuman to Briddim takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. This section of the trail is moderately easy and offers a rewarding combination of natural scenery and cultural immersion.The trail gradually descends and passes through beautiful landscapes, including terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and small Tamang settlements. Along the way, trekkers can enjoy peaceful surroundings and occasional views of the surrounding hills and distant peaks within the Langtang region.

As you approach Briddim, the village reveals itself as a traditional Tamang settlement influenced by Tibetan culture. The stone houses, monasteries, prayer flags, and chortens create a unique and authentic Himalayan atmosphere.

Upon arrival, you will stay overnight at a guesthouse, where you can experience warm hospitality, traditional meals, and an authentic homestay experience with a local family.

Day 7 :

Briddim to Syabru Besi (1450m) 6 hours . Overnight at teahouse.

Day 8 :

Syabru Besi to drive back to Kathmandu . Overnight at Hotel.

After completing your trek, you will drive from Syabrubesi back to Kathmandu. The journey takes approximately 5 to 7 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic.The drive follows scenic mountain roads, passing through rural villages, terraced hills, and alongside rivers. It offers one last opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the region before returning to the city.

Day 9 :

Transfer to international airport for your departure.

Medical Assistance: 

  • Assistance in arranging rescue operations in case of complicated health conditions (funded by travel insurance) 
  • Medical kits, including an oximeter to monitor blood oxygen saturation levels in high altitudes 

Equipment and Extra: 

  • Use of a Snow View Trek’s Team down jacket and sleeping bag during the trek (If needed) 
  • One trekking duffel bag (70 L) per participant
